Thanks for being part of the next100words community. We don’t believe in rules, but here are a few guidelines to help you as you create next100words and spin new stories:

  • Your next100words don’t literally have to be an exact 100 words. Stop whenever you feel like and submit. Take the story to conclusion if you like. The submission has to just be a minimum of 100 words.
  • This is a place for original writing. Plagiarism is a strict no-no. All responsibility and liability for the content rests with the author.
  • All content is screened before publishing, and must pass muster on a minimum of the following parameters: appropriateness, content quality, language and grammar, names of specific individuals/places/companies, plagiarism, violent and sexual content, and any other biases (gender, color, race, etc.).
  • Practice makes perfect, so the more you write, the better you will become at it.
  • Finally, don’t worry about your next100words being good enough. Enjoy yourself when you write, and it’ll come out good.

    1. Hi Damini! Thanks for visiting and appreciating! If you wish to submit a story to be featured in the Stories In Progress section, please send them to me at sarvesh_dce@hotmail.com. I moderate all our submissions, and the story will be featured once the review is done. Once any of your submissions is up, you will receive an invite to come aboard as an author for next100words, after which you will be able to post stories on your own as well. Looking forward to your joining the tribe!
